The Nature Conservancy (TNC)

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a leading conservation organization working to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. TNC is joining with policy makers, community members, businesses, scientists, industry leaders and others to slow the pace of climate change. TNC is developing science-based adaptation strategies to safeguard habitats around the world, and ensure that the habitats continue to provide for the people who rely on them, while also creating pilot projects to help regions develop their own adaptation plans. TNC is partnering with academics and other research institutions to create tools - like the Climate Wizard- that make data and model projections more easily accessible.
